PokerBros provides players with a number of built-in tools for tracking and analyzing their game, which is essential for improving skills and reading opponents. However, unfortunately, unlike other poker applications, PokerBros does not display detailed statistics about players in their profiles, such as VPIP or PFR. This is where third-party software, ready-made hand history mining and tracking services like Statname can come to the rescue. Before finding out whether such statistics are available on PokerBros, we will first look at the useful options available in this application.
Useful Options on PokerBros
Strong players are always looking for ways to improve their game, and the PokerBROS Career page, which provides information about your playing style and performance (both overall and for each game type), is a great starting point.
There are also tools at each table to track your session performance, from Playstyle and Heat Index to Winnings and VPIP.
Clicking on your avatar in the main lobby will take you to your Profile, where you can:
- Change your nickname.
- View hand history for the last 6 days..
- Remind yourself of the tags you’ve created.
- Get an overview of your PokerBROS Career.
By default, the Career tab displays data for all games, but you can select each game type separately via the drop-down menu. At the bottom of each page, the Career tab lists the total number of games played, the number of hands, ROI, and VPIP.
What is ROI?
ROI (Return on Investment) is a metric that is useful for measuring your winnings, especially in tournaments. ROI is displayed as a percentage and is calculated by subtracting the total amount of buy-ins from the player’s total winnings, dividing the result by the total amount of buy-ins, and multiplying by 100.
Example: If your total winnings in MTTs are 134,500 Gold with a buy-in of 1,000 Gold over 100 tournaments, then your net profit (winnings minus 100,000 Gold) is 34,500 Gold. Your ROI in this case is 34.5% (34,500/100,000) * 100). Note that for MTTs this value should not fall below 20%, while for single-table games, a 15-20% ROI is ideal.
What is VPIP?
VPIP (Voluntarily Put $ in Pot) shows the percentage of hands in which players put chips in the pot without being forced to (in the blinds). Includes both calls and raises. The combination of VPIP and PFR (Preflop Raise Percentage) is used to determine the playstyle icons in the “Playstyle” tab.
A low VPIP (<14%) indicates a tight game, a medium VPIP (15-25%) is typical for a tight-aggressive player, and a high VPIP (50%+) indicates a looser style of play.
PokerBros In-Play Stats: Heat Index and Playstyle
Clicking on your avatar while playing at a table will bring up a slightly different Profile screen. This includes an emoji library and a quick overview of your play at that particular table. When you first log in, your play style is listed as “Newbie” since it takes at least ten hands to classify it.
In reality, it takes many more hands to classify it accurately. Sample size is a key factor for statistics. A Playstyle icon based on hundreds of hands will be more accurate than one based on a small number of hands.
Current Table Buy-in, Winnings, and VPIP Info
Clicking on the document icon in the upper right corner of any table will show you your Buy-in, Winnings, and VPIP at the current table. This data only shows information for the current table, not the entire session. If you play at multiple tables at once, PokerBros stats will only be displayed for each table separately.
Like any game that combines skill and luck, results in poker can be volatile. Short-term variability can skew results, so it can sometimes feel like you never win on the flop. Overcoming this is a matter of volume: the more hands you play, the more accurately your results will reflect your true ability to win. Keeping track of your in-game stats and overall stats in the lobby will give you insight into your play, and don’t forget that no amount of information is too much.
Advantages of the Statname platform
A huge benefit of PokerBROS is that you can use any statistics software. Popular programs like HM2, HM3, PT4, H2N, DriveHUD and others can be used here without the risk of an account ban. The only caveat is that you will need hand converters for this.
If you do not plan to use third-party software, while spending tens, if not hundreds of hours analyzing your game (or opponents), we recommend the proven Statname service. With its help, players can access detailed statistics of any opponent in one click during or after a session. What you need for this:
1. To view statistics during the game, you must first launch Asian Tool / Asian Converter and open PokerBros on the emulator.
2. Then, log in to your Statname account in the browser and leave it open to see all the statistics about the players.
3. Install the Autopaste extension for your browser. This extension automatically inserts the player’s name into the Statname search bar after copying it to the clipboard.
All these data mining tools help players analyze their game more accurately and make informed decisions based on the collected data. Don’t miss the chance to learn about your opponents with the extensive statistics on Bros! Join Statname today!
