Poker hand histories can be downloaded and then imported into trackers. In this article, we will look at how it works using the example of a combination of Hand2Note and PokerOK / GGPoker converter.
How to import GGPoker hand history into H2N 4
Despite the fact that third-party software is not welcome in the GG network, players can still use some programs. For example, the Hand2Note tracker, which is designed to analyze your game and player pool.
To start working with a database in the new H2N 4, just follow two steps:
- Upload your hand history. To do this, request the files from support;
- Convert downloaded hands into a format supported by Hand2Note. To do this, use our X2H converter, ask your personal manager via Skype or Telegram to get one.
Once you have a database of hands at ready, you can launch the H2N software. Few more steps required:
- Launch the program.
- On the main page, click on “Import”.
- In the pop-up window, select “From Folder”.
- Specify the destination folder where hand histories are saved.
- Make sure the importing process starts and then wait for it to end.
If you did everything correctly, the program will display a list of players. Everyone will have random nicknames (except for Hero, which is you). This is due to the fact that hand history on the GG network is anonymous. However, this does not prevent you from using advanced H2N analysis functions.
In addition to analyzing your game, you will be able to detect weak points (leaks) in the game of your opponents. Although it is not possible to view statistics for specific players due to anonymous nicknames in the database, you will have access to the Range Research feature. This feature allows you to explore the tendencies of certain groups of opponents, which will help you better understand their play and make more informed decisions at the table.
