In the following review, we will briefly go over poker auto-seating scripts that remain relevant and irreplaceable assistants for regulars to this day: MagicSeat and One007.
Brief Review of MagicSeat
MagicSeat is a script that automatically puts you at a table. The software searches for the weakest tables with the biggest whales, giving a tangible advantage. This allows you to increase your win rate and make more money.

Brief Review of One007 + Setup Recommendations
One007 works in a similar way to the above-mentioned MagicSeat. So to not repeat ourselves, we will now look at its main advantages, and also look at how One007 works.
Among the advantages of One007:
- High speed. Unique private algorithms allow One007 to achieve very high table-seating speed in poker rooms.
- Support for any layouts. The One007 script is compatible with any table layouts, including unique custom layouts.
- Multi-rooming. One007 works with several rooms simultaneously, which allows you to manage the game effectively when multi-rooming.
- High security. One007 is checked by the VirusTotal service, which guarantees the absence of malware.

And to consolidate our knowledge, we will look at how One007 works using 888poker as an example.
First, we should download the program from the official website and install it. The program must be installed as an administrator. Note that One007 is protected from hacking, so when installing or downloading, Windows Defender or your antivirus may be alerted.
Okay, so the program is installed. Before launching, go to the program folder and do a few simple manipulations that will help you safely use the script in the future. Rename the launching file and the folder. We recommend renaming the folder and the starter file to the name of the program under which you will mask the script in the future. With the executive file, make sure you make it always run as administrator in properties. At this point, the script is ready.
Now let’s set the run as administrator feature in properties for the program under which we plan to mask the script. Let it be Skype. Please note that any 32-bit program can be used for masking, for example Telegram, Internet Explorer, and so on.
Everything is ready to run the script, open the program and select Skype. Now, if you hover over Skype, you can see that our program is there too.
To open the settings, click on the gear and insert the license key.
Let’s dive into some settings now. In the “Number of tables for the game” field, we can set the number of tables that we plan to play. Let’s say we want to play 4 tables.
Next, let’s go to the “Setting up the grid for the game” section. We will now select the number of columns and rows in the grid. In our case, let it be 2 by 2, since we plan to play only 4 tables. For 6 tables, you can make it 3-2 or 2-3, depending on the resolution of your monitor.
In the “Main room” field, select the main room from which the table proportion will be taken. Next, click on the “Configure area for the game” button. Our grid has appeared in front of us, which we can stretch and move however we like. Now tables will be moved to the grid.
You can also specify the order of table placement. The numbers 1, 2, 3, 4 are responsible for this. If you remove, for example, 4 and leave only 1, 2, 3, then the fourth table will not be moved to the grid.
Below, there is an option to enable the second grid. The settings there are identical
Initially, before the first launch, you will not have color marks. We specifically went to iPoker and loaded the marks. In this section, you need to select the color marks you use to mark recreational players. It is also important to select unknown players, because they are often recs.
Below we have “Set scan area location” button. By clicking on this button, we will set up the scanning area in which the script will scan tables for recs, and then move it to the playing area. We recommend moving the scanning area away from the grid. If you have a second monitor, you can move the scanning area there. Save and click “OK”.
Let’s go to the “Configure scan filter” section. First, let’s select the number of players at the table for 6 and 9 max tables. Since 888Poker has a waitlist, you need to select a value greater than 6 or 9 to scan full tables.
Another example, let’s say we play 6-max, and for the script to scan full tables, the value of players must be 8 (or higher). The number of players is what the script uses to determine whether to scan a table or not. Now on the screen you can see the optimal settings for the number of players at the table for 6- and 9-max tables. Below in the “Stakes” section, we specify which stakes we are playing. For example, NL0.5-1 is 100NL, NL1-2 is 200NL. Let’s also specify the stakes for 9-max tables. Please note that if you want to disable 9-max tables scan, then it is enough to set the stakes value to 0. Click “Apply filters to all rooms” if you play several rooms and all have the same stakes.
The “Close tables if there are fewer players” option is very important. By enabling this option, the script will close tables if there are fewer players than the set number. This is very important, since tables with one or two players can take a long time to fill up, and the script will keep the table in the scanning area and take up space, although it could scan other tables.
The “Maximum number of tables to scan” option is responsible for the number of tables in the scanning area. In the 888Poker room, you can specify a value no greater than 6, since this room has a limit on the number of tables that can be opened. If you set 6 tables, be sure to check the box “Consider tables that are currently played” so that the script does not try to open a seventh table, thereby causing an error in the room.
It seems that everything is configured now, so let’s go back to the general 888Poker settings. Go to the “Additional settings” section. Here you can configure options such as “Sit at the table or not”, “Confirm buy-in or not”, and “Reserve a seat or not”. For 8-8, we recommend disabling the “Auto buy-in”, “Seat at the table when R or fish appears” and “Reserve for R” options, so as not to arouse suspicion from regular players.
Important point. For all auxiliary software, be sure to disable “Auto buy-in” and table placement. In the review, we highlighted the 888Caption features you should disable for the script to work properly
You can also edit the delays in this section. Although we do not recommend doing this, since the default settings were made by 1000NL+ players. So basically, we went through the key settings of One007.
MagicSeat is pretty much the same in terms of settings and the way it operates, but it is better to download the trial version first to get familiar with the software.
Datamining as an Assisting Tool
Of course, an auto-seating script is an irreplaceable tool that can strongly affect your winrate, but such programs have one significant drawback. In some cases, they are simply prohibited, you should check with your room if it’s available there. And if you get caught using the script while it is forbidden, you may face a permanent ban.
However, in reality it is not that bad, because most pros use poker scripts for auto-seating without any problems. But what’s really interesting is that you can get an even greater advantage at the table. Even if you suddenly encounter a stronger player, you can get his stats via his hand history. How?
